The armor and reconaissance units of the Republic, much like K-bots, they serve many roles, and many designs exist, from battle tanks, to artillery, to scouts and anti-air platforms and radar jammers.
Jeffy:
The lightest tank there is, its gun is designed to take out other nations APCs and other light armored vehicles, as well as for use against K-bots.
Flash:
The fastest vehicle in the army, its high speed is made up for by its nearly nonexistant armor and light weaponry. It is, for all intents and purposes, a Peewee on wheels, able to hit and run almost with impunity, as long as it takes no hits from enemy weapons systems.
Samson:
A light armored AA/guided missile platform, its bank of missiles allows it a much better fire rate than equivalent K-bots, while its sturdier platform also allows it to mount heavier weapons, meaning less hits for a kill on enemy aircraft or armor.
Stumpy:
A medium tank, it has decent armor, speed, and weaponry equivalent to most other nations. Its main asset comes from its mass produceability under combat conditions, and the rapidity with which it may be deployed against oncoming forces.
Bulldog:
Heavier than the Stumpy, its twin barrels give it unparallelled power on the battlefield to strike down its enemies, while its armor gives it tremendous staying power in a fight.
Triton:
A rare sight, this aquatic tank is very much similar to the Stumpy, both in armor and armament. Its mobility under water means it is often used in varied terrain for ambushes, as its relatively light armor precludes its use as a solo amphibious landing unit, though it may effect landings supported by hovercraft if needed. Several variations on this platform are being considered, including AA and scout versions.
Mobile Artillery:
A massive mobile gun, its almost total lack of armor makes it incredibly frail, but the long range of its cannon allows it to strike from miles away, and decimate enemy formations far outside its sightlines.
MERL:
A multiple launch rocket system, its large guided weapons are extremely effective at destroying distant and well defended targets, though its light armor means that if the enemy gets a solid hit on it, survival is a prayer rather than a probability.
Podger:
This mine layer has several weapons at its disposal, ranging from antipersonnel, through anti-tank, all the way up to nuclear area denial mines.
Construction vehicle:
Much like the K-bot, this engineer has access to all basic structures, although its greater volume has allowed for the installation of a better nanolathe than that of the smaller K-bot.
Adv Construction Vehicle:
Just as the basic construction vehicle is to the K-bot, so it goes for the advanced units, with a progressive increase in efficiency for the larger vehicle.
