Hovercraft come in handy on planets where the possibility of amphibious operations is all too real, or when flanking an enemy force from normally impassable terrain permits a massive advantage.
Skimmer:
A light scout hovercraft, only its amphibious capability is any redeeming feature, as it is slower than any other scout in the game, as well as poorly armed.
Anaconda:
An artillery hovercraft, its weapon is very much similar to the Hammer's in damage and range, with once again only its mobility being a redeeming facet.
Swatter:
AA/Guided missile hovercraft, in effect an amphibious Samson platform, it is just as powerful as its land bound cousin, and the long range and accuracy of its missiles make it the best option when engaging with hovercraft.
Wombat:
Much like the rocket k-bots, this is the second choice for engaging enemies with hovercraft, as its powerful rockets can cause a deal of damage, especially when employed en masse against unsuspecting targets.
Construction Hovercraft:
Just like the K-bot, it can however build seabased and underwater versions of several buildings that the k-bot also produces.
