Peeper:
Tiny, insanely fast and lightly armored, this is a penultimate scout, built with an FTL engine, it is the only aircraft deployed solo to explore systems on its own.
Thunder:
A bomber, its weapons are often less useful in space combat, unless the pilot can achieve a relative downward position on its target, allowing its bottom mounted weapons to be propelled into a target. On the surface, it's heavy bomb load can be devastating against most targets.
Freedom Fighter:
Armed with missiles, this light fighter is the backbone of the Republic's strategic air command, engaging and destroying other fighters, while its adequate armor and speed lets it survive long after it should have been destroyed by enemy fire.
Atlas:
A light transport, its ability to rapidly deploy forces to far corners of a battlefield in a very short time makes it an effective and deadly plane in support of a ground combat force.
Phoenix:
A strategic bomber, much like its smaller counterpart, this massive machine can destroy bases, tanks, infantry, and any other target that enters its sights, while defending itself with a light laser weapon for use against AA or fighters.
Lancet:
Torpedo bomber, this plane is capable of engaging enemies effectively in both aquatic and space environments, launching torpedoes against enemy craft. Despite their light warheads, sheer mass of fire will often allow a lancet squadron to engage and destroy larger ships with time.
Brawler:
A powerful gunship, this beast mounts a pair of gargantuan EMG Cannon, capable of tearing apart enemy fighters, destroyers, and other light craft by weight of fire. Its comparably thick armor makes it more durable than any other fighter in a direct conflict.
Hawk:
The stealth fighter of the Republic, its near invisibility to all forms of detection make it a deadly strike craft, as it comes in well underneath enemy guns, launching missiles at ranges that would be suicidal for regular craft, engaging anti-air defenses with near impunity.
Construction Aircraft:
Due to weight limitations, the aircraft has the least efficient nanolathe of the engineers, and it takes the longest to build anything, its ability to build in vacuum and on the ground, however, is essential to the Republic colonization and war effort.
Advanced Construction Aircraft:
Only slightly better than its basic counterpart, it can build all of the same things as other advanced engineers, though it often requires several to complete anything in a reasonable amount of time.
