Vatallus Steel is, perhaps, one of the most durable armor types in the known universe, made of a classified series of metal ores that have been found only within the moons of Artesia. All units that are made of Vatallus Steel are capable of withstanding, at the least, 20,000 degrees of heat before compromising the hull of the unit in question. This also makes units made of Vatallus Steel nigh-impossible to destroy with energy-based weapons. However, due to the difficulty in making Vatallus Steel, units made of the steel are made in special orders only and are extremely expensive to create. With thicker armor than its I-Gear cousin, the B-Gear makes for a deadly, stylish fighter. Price: 200 billion credits per unit

However, what the A-Gear lacks in speed and maneuverability is made up for in tremendous fire power. The primary role of the A-Gear is as a stationary defense weapon, planting itself in a single spot and deploying its heavy weapons to wreak devastation upon the enemy. Its secondary function is as a heavy hover tank, utilizing the same heavy weapons to turn the tide of land engagements. However, if necessary, the A-Gear is also capable of defending itself in aerial engagements, though it won't fair well. Price: 500 billion credits per unit

However, the M-Gear's primary role isn't as a combatant. The M-Gear's purpose is to act as a field repair station, parking itself just outside of the battle so that its formation can return and receive repairs. Because it is stationary when it does this, the M-Gear employs thick armor and shields, making it nigh-impossible to destroy, even with heavy capital ship weapons. However, should the M-Gear be forced to defend itself, its light weaponry can help turn away aggressors. Price: 350 billion credits per unit
